1. Who we are and what this covers
Greenlit is operated by Easy Agents LLC, based in Wisconsin, United States ("Greenlit," "we," "us"). This policy covers the Greenlit macOS beta, its browser companion, optional connected apps, this informational website, and information you send to support. Contact info@easyagents.tech for privacy questions.
Greenlit Cloud has not launched. This website does not provide cloud accounts, workspace synchronization, résumé uploads, a waitlist, or payments. A future cloud service will have its own disclosed data practices before you choose to use it.
2. Information in the desktop app
Greenlit uses information you provide to organize your career story, evaluate roles, prepare materials and track progress. This may include:
- Your name, résumé/CV, career history, goals, target roles, location preferences and compensation preferences.
- Job descriptions, employer details, opportunity stages, interview details, next actions, notes, reports and versions of application materials.
- Scout conversations, selected screen context, and context you or Scout save to an opportunity.
- Listings you choose to send from the browser companion: the page URL, title and extracted job content. The companion is not a general browsing-history service.
The current app stores its workspace on your Mac and does not upload it to an operator-managed Greenlit cloud-storage service. Network requests are still made to your selected AI provider, enabled connected apps, job boards, websites and services used in workflows you run. Local storage does not mean every workflow is offline.
3. Optional Google and Granola connections
You authorize connections through the provider's sign-in flow. Greenlit does not ask for your Google password. Gmail and Google Calendar are connected separately.
- Google account identity ·
userinfo.email - The connected email address identifies the account and helps prevent account mix-ups.
- Google Calendar ·
calendar.events.readonly - Scout can search and read events on your primary calendar, including titles, times, attendees, descriptions and meeting links, for interview preparation. This does not supply recordings or transcripts and does not modify events.
- Gmail ·
gmail.readonly - Scout can search relevant recruiter or hiring threads and read matching message metadata and bodies. The beta does not import email attachments, send messages, delete messages or edit your mailbox.
- Granola
- Scout can search and read meeting notes available to your signed-in Granola account through its hosted connection. Availability depends on your account and plan. The beta does not import transcripts.
When Available to Scout is enabled, Scout can search and read matching context during a conversation. There is no continuous connector synchronization or background mailbox scan. Results and retrieved content may be included in the conversation and, when linked to an opportunity, saved as a local source snapshot.
Google connections are limited beta features. A connection is not a claim that Greenlit has completed Google's public OAuth verification. Broader availability depends on applicable verification, security and downstream AI-data requirements.
Google-derived information is used for user-requested career-context features, not for advertising, sale to data brokers or credit decisions. Greenlit does not use it to train general-purpose AI models. Google's API Services User Data Policy and Workspace user data policy, including Limited Use restrictions, govern Google-data handling. Public connector release requires those restrictions to be satisfied, including permitted transfers and no-general-model-training safeguards for downstream providers.
4. What goes to Scout's AI provider
Scout uses your chosen ChatGPT/Codex or Claude connection. The command-line connection runs on your Mac, but the AI model processes content on its provider's systems. Relevant profile information, listings, documents, conversation history, included screen context, tool results and enabled connector content may be sent to that provider to answer your request.
Changing models or providers can carry conversation history to the newly selected provider. Pausing or disconnecting a connected app stops new retrieval; it does not erase content already included in a chat. Review the conversation and remove confidential content before sharing it with another provider.
Your provider's terms, account agreement, privacy settings and retention practices apply. Greenlit does not guarantee that a personal subscription prevents provider retention, human review or model training. Check your account's settings before sharing private information. A user setting alone is not a substitute for the safeguards required for Google-derived data.
If you enable unrestricted agent permissions, the AI tool can run commands and access files with your Mac user's permissions. It is not limited to a Greenlit-only sandbox. Only enable broader permissions if you understand the access.
5. Storage, security and deletion
Your desktop records remain on your Mac until you remove them. Greenlit does not separately encrypt every workspace file. Protect your Mac account, consider FileVault, and manage backups. Google and Granola connection credentials are stored in macOS Keychain. AI tools manage their own credentials and may keep separate histories or logs. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Use an opportunity's context controls to remove saved sources, remove unwanted conversations or documents, or use Settings → Danger zone to reset or remove app data. Disconnecting removes that connection's local credentials, not previously saved context.
Removing one source does not automatically remove copies in chats, reports, document versions, exports, Trash or backups. Manage those copies separately. Local deletion also does not delete original Gmail messages, Calendar events or Granola notes, or content already processed by your AI provider.
You can revoke Google authorization in Google Account connections. Provider-held records are governed by that provider's deletion controls and retention practices. We cannot remotely inspect or erase a workspace stored only on your Mac.
6. Website visits and support messages
The website has no Greenlit account registration, payment processing, advertising pixels or application analytics. Its fonts and artwork are served with the site. We do not add advertising or analytics cookies. Hosting security or authentication features may use necessary cookies, particularly on protected previews.
Vercel hosts the website. Its infrastructure processes technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, timestamps and security/error records to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site. Infrastructure logs follow the host's operational and legal retention practices rather than the support-email schedule below. See Vercel's privacy notice.
If you email info@easyagents.tech, we and our email provider, Zoho, receive your address, message and any attachments. We use them to respond, resolve the issue and maintain necessary support or legal records—not to build an advertising profile. See Zoho's privacy policy. Send only what is necessary; redact résumés, screenshots and private correspondence. Do not send passwords, access tokens, login codes or OAuth credential files.
We delete support emails and attachments from operator-managed active records within 90 days after the issue is resolved, unless records are needed for legal obligations or a dispute. Records retained for an exception are kept only as long as that need continues. Email-provider backups may persist according to the provider's retention practices; deleting active support records is not an assurance that every provider backup is immediately erased.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
You can use Greenlit without connecting Gmail, Calendar or Granola. Choose the AI provider, control included screen context, pause or disconnect connected apps, revoke provider permissions and remove local records. See the data-control instructions.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of information we hold, object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to the relevant privacy authority. Contact info@easyagents.tech. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your request; do not send credentials. We respond as required by applicable law and do not penalize you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Requests to us cover information we hold, such as support messages. For records held only on your Mac, use Greenlit's local controls. Contact the relevant provider for its records. This product is not directed to children under 13; contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information.
9. Policy changes and Greenlit Cloud
The effective date appears above. We will explain material changes before they apply where required. A future cloud service will disclose its processing and controls before launch; your local workspace will not be treated as automatically enrolled or uploaded merely because you use this website.
